Where do we find the best of the best quality immortelle essential oil? The quality of the immortelle essential oils, pressed and distilled from plants growing naturally along the Croatian coastline and in the hills of the inland Dalmatian hinterland are of the highest level. I’ve travelled to some of the most well-known regions where this herbal plant manages to grow in such harsh conditions, seeking the purest and supposedly the best quality oils and I’ve spoken to many people. The Dalmatian islands of Pag, Šolta, Vis, Lastovo, Brač, Hvar, and the Dalmatian hills around Šibenik, Drniš, and Knin all boast of having the best of the best, and I would like to agree with all of them, including our inland neighbouring region of Herzegovina!
My personal choice! The immortelle flower heads are harvested and distilled in May June, and after trying and trialing a number of local end products by various producers I discovered a very productive young woman in the Makarska Riviera region who had the initiative and drive to establish her IMMORTELLA company. I have found their products to be of superior quality, a cut above the rest, at realistic and affordable prices.
