Sailing Yacht Sinbadsan is in exciting new hands!

Sinbadsan is a yacht that I feel I can highly recommend to those guests who have a desire to set sail in a classic older style timber yacht, beautifully crafted in it’s day,  with  captain Mirko at the helm, and crew, which includes Mirko’s wife, the amazing Tash, who leaves no stone unturned providing guests with an itinerary and sailing route to please all levels of activities and palates.  Considered to be among the most knowledgeable and most hospitable team on the Dalmatian Coast. Robyn Vulinovich-Sisarić.

Sinbadsan is a 72-foot classic sailing yacht….. Sinbadsan has excellent sailing performance and she is truly made for those who wish to experience a genuine sailing holiday in style and comfort. The Bow deck is very spacious with sun beds, at the stern there is a pleasant seating area where guests can enjoy al fresco dining. The inside salon is extremely spacious for a sailing boat and provides another area to dine or relax; it also has a lot of beautiful, natural light. There is a large couch with a dining table as well as another couch with a cocktail table. All rooms are air-conditioned with en-suite.

Our hope is that with us, you will see Croatia differently and ultimately leave with a new zest for life.

About Us…
Choosing to come sailing on Sinbadsan is choosing to be a part of our story, our family for the week. We are a married couple who have been working together on luxury yachts for the last three years in Croatia and now want to take the guest experience into our hands by running our own yacht.

Tash Pericic: Originally from New Zealand, I first visited Croatia five years ago and fell in love with the country and my (now) husband. My background was in Restaurants, for which I have worked and travelled around the world, the pinnacle of my career was managing Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin-starred MAZE in Mayfair. So, a love of gastronomy and sharing the best of Croatia comes naturally to me. I also have a passion for outdoor adventure, this year I ran in the Split half-marathon, went zip-lining across the Cetina River, learned to free dive with world champions and recently learned to surf on a SUP behind our yacht! Any active guests can be sure that their passion will be reciprocated.

Mirko Pericic: Mirko was born and bred here in Croatia, originally from the Dalmatian coast, the Adriatic runs in his blood. Mirko has been working on yacht for the last 17 years, beginning as a deck-hand on a mini-cruiser and then he has captained various vessels over the last 6 years, including a luxury 100-foot gulet and the gorgeous luxury sailing yacht Alba for the last 3 years. Mirko has all relevant certificates and registration, including his Yacht Masters 500. He is excited to move away from luxury cruising yachts and back to an exceptional sailing yacht. In off-season, Mirko has also completed different ocean crossings, delivering a yacht from Morocco to Ecuador – across the Atlantic and the Panama Canal and last year he delivered a yacht from Greece to Egypt crossing the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Suez Canal. So, you can trust that you are in the hands of an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate sailor. He knows the Adriatic like the back of his hand, including gorgeous bays and hidden gems and will always be happy to hoist the sails!
