DALMATIA IN YOUR EYES Tour…. The journey through the Dalmatian culture and nature and exploring the historical sites and unique traditional food spiced with the best Dalmatian wines and customs.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR

CULTURE: Diocletian’s Palace, Ivan Meštrović Gallery, sightseeing Dubrovnik city, historical part of Trogir city, sightseeing Ston city, visiting sponges and coral communities on Krapanj Island, Cathedral of St. James, visiting fortress in Sibenik – Barone and St. Nicholas, exploring Zadar city, Gold and Silver exhibition. Drnis, views of the old town with the church of St. Anthony of Padua and St. Rocco and the site with a mosque with a semi-dome.

NATURE: Cetina canyon belvedere, small church over Gata, the story of the famous Poljica Republic and the election of the princess, Peljesac island, Krka river and a part of the National Park Krka (Roski, a lookout over the Visovac, Orthodox monastery Arhanđelovac).

GASTRONOMY: Trying some original and traditional dishes like soparnik, vineyard tour, presentation of traditional dishes preparation, soparnik at National Restaurant where a traditional dinner will be organized, tasting oysters in Ston, tasting local food and wine in Sibenik, smoked ham tasting.

EXPERIENCE:  Visiting donkey farm and tasting donkey milk, visiting Maraschino factory, Royal vineyards – the biggest vineyard of Tribidrag grapes, also known as Zinfandel, in Croatia

DAY 1 HANGING OUT IN SPLIT…. The first step on your journey when you arrive in Split is meeting with your travel guide and transfer to the hotel. After a short break, its time for sightseeing the city accompanied by a local guide. A tour of Diocletian’s Palace (UNESCO) and Ivan Mestrovic Gallery. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 THE BEAUTIES OF TROGIR CITY AND TASTING SOPARNIK…The second day starts with breakfast at the hotel. The morning is reserved for a tour of the historic town of Trogir (UNESCO) accompanied by a local guide. In the afternoon a visit to the canyon of the Cetina river is organized (belvedere – small church over Gata – the story of the famous Poljica Republic and the election of the princess). After that workshops are organized – the presentation of traditional dishes preparation – soparnik at a National Restaurant where a traditional dinner will be organized. After delicious dinner, the rest of the night is at your leisure.

DAY 3 DUBROVNIK TOUR…. After breakfast at the hotel, we departure to the south of Croatia to see the beautiful old town Dubrovnik, also called King’s landing, which is under UNESCO protection. Upon arrival sightseeing of the historical center of the pearl of the Adriatic accompanied by a local guide. Free afternoon to buy souvenirs and return to Ston where the oyster tasting is organized. Check in hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 ENJOYING THE CROATIAN ISLAND OF WINE AND DONKEY MILK…. Breakfast at the hotel. The half-day program on the Peljesac, known for excellent wines and picturesque landscape. Visiting wineries along the wine road – guided tasting with an emphasis on the Plavac Mali varieties. A visit to the donkey farm with donkey milk tasting and stories about its proven medicinal properties, particularly in the treatment of a cough in children. On the way back, visit Ston and Ston walls. Check in the hotel in Sibenik. Dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 MEETING WITH ŠIBENIK AND THE LOWEST ISLAND ON THE ADRIATIC COAST…. Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit Krapanj island and enjoy views of the Museum of Sponges and Corals. In the afternoon, time is left to visit picturesque Sibenik. City tour with a local guide – with emphasis on the Cathedral of St. James which is also under UNESCO protection. After that, it’s time to visit fortress Barone and local food and wine tasting. In the afternoon, stroll the promenade toward the fortress of St. Nicholas, stop and take pictures of beautiful vistas of the city of Sibenik and the canal. After an interesting day in Sibenik, it’s time to check in the hotel, try delicious dinner and take a rest in your hotel rooms.

DAY 6 EXPLORING THE BEST EUROPEAN DESTINATION 2016… After breakfast at the hotel, the trip is continued in Zadar – the most beautiful European destination in 2016. A tour of the historic center of the old town with a local guide and visiting the exhibition ‘Gold and Silver of Zadar’, unique sea organ, and the installation of sun salutation. A visit to the factory Maraschino where the famous namesake liqueur has been produced for centuries. In the afternoon, a visit to Nin and its traditional salt pans is organized. It’s organized with a local guide. On the way back to the hotel visit the Royal vineyards – the biggest vineyard of Tribidrag grapes in Croatia, also known as Zinfandel. After a nice tour, it’s time to check in the hotel and rest after dinner.

DAY 7 BEAUTIFUL KRKA WATERFALLS…. After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to visit a vintner who cultivated grape varieties traditional to the area of the region. Tour the vineyards and taste 5 different wines. Continue to the upper course of the Krka river and a part of the National Park Krka (Roski, a lookout over the Visovac, Orthodox monastery Arhanđelovac). Continue to Drnis, views of the old town with the church of St. Anthony of Padua and St. Rocco and the site with a mosque with a semi-dome. Check ham smoking with a local manufacturer and discover the secrets of preparing exquisite delicacies – smoked ham (tasting). Check in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 8…. The journey is over, for the end breakfast at the hotel and arrival to the airport.
